12 Capcom Titles On The Way For Wii U Virtual Console

The Wii U virtual console hasn’t gotten a lot of love, but that finally looks to be changing, as Capcom is set to release 12 classic titles on Nintendo’s service. There is no release date set for these titles, but they are all expected to come out on the virtual console by the end of 2014. Some will also release on the 3DS Virtual Console. The list includes SNES classic Breath of Fire, Gargoyle’s Quest II and a whole slew of Mega Man titles.

Check out the full list of announced titles for the Virtual Console:

Breath of Fire (Wii U)
Demon’s Crest (Wii U)
Gargoyle’s Quest II (3DS, Wii U)
Mega Man 5 (Wii U)
Mega Man 6 (Wii U)
Mega Man 7 (Wii U)
Mega Man X3 (Wii U)
Mega Man Zero (Wii U)
Mega Man Battle Network (Wii U)
Mega Man Battle Chip Challenge (Wii U)
Mighty Final Fight (3DS, Wii U)
Street Fighter 2010 (3DS, Wii U)

The vast majority of those titles are pretty highly regarded. Obviously, any Mega Man fan will be in heaven. I’ve actually always wanted to try Mega Man Battle Network personally and have never gotten around to it, so this’ll be a good chance. Capcom has more titles planned for the Virtual Console (Mega Man Zero 2, Mega Man Battle Network 2, and Mega Man Battle Network 3, because there can never be enough Mega Man), but those aren’t coming til sometime in 2015.
