E3 2014: Phantom Dust is Back For Xbox One

At their E3 conference today, Microsoft announced the remake of the cult classic Phantom Dust. The property was on the original Xbox and was met with favorable reviews in 2005 and has since laid dormant. Now Microsoft has brought it back in HD featuring new gameplay and updated graphics on the Xbox One.

We’ve previously reported that Microsoft had filed a new trademark for Phantom Dust and it seems we’re seeing the first images of the end result. The original Phantom Dust was an action/strategy game wherein the player collected skills, in the form of cards, and created arsenals of moves, putting together decks, as he discovers the backstory of what happened to Earth. This looks like it’ll be a great addition to the Microsoft Exclusive lineup and a treat for Phantom Dust fans. Check out the E3 trailer below:
