Microsoft has just announced that F2p title Happy Wars, which was previously only available on the Xbox 360, is coming to Xbox One. Happy Wars will feature 4-player co-op and cross-platform play. This is all that was revealed at this time. No firm release date has been announced, and it was not said whether you will have to have Xbox Live Gold in order to play Happy Wars, but given current policies that’s a pretty sure bet.
It’s a shame this opportunity wasn’t used to announce the removal of paywall restrictions for MMOs & F2P titles, but maybe they are saving that for the press conference? We can always hope.
