CD Projekt RED revealed today that The Witcher 3 will launch on PS4, Xbox One and PC on February 24. 2015. The third chapter in the story-driven, open world role-playing saga puts Geralt of Rivia up against his toughest challenge to date in the titular Wild Hunt. Can the monster hunter succeed against a legendary enemy? Will players even finish the main storyline considering the developers are promising one of the richest and largest RPG environments of all time?

Along with the release date, the contents of the physical boxed versions of the game were also unveiled. Even the standard discs come with some very nice extras, including the music soundtrack on CD, a game map, stickers and a special booklet entitled “Witcher Universe – The Compendium.”

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Collector’s Edition goes even harder, packing in all the contents from the standard version plus a hand-painted Polystone figure of Geralt fighting a griffin, a collector-grade Witcher medallion, a 200-page artbook and more. Or as CD Projekt Red Head of Studio Adam Badowski put it:

"Behold, the Collector’s Edition of The Witcher–over two kilograms of the most badass monster slayer, ready to bring your desktop figure collection to a whole new level."

And just in case that wasn’t enough news for one game on one day, there’s also the new “Sword of Destiny” trailer to take in. Watch that below and be prepared next winter when The Witcher 3: The Wild Hunt is finally unleashed.
