Pete Holmes Cuts Through Street Fighter Red Tape With Joel McHale

facebooktwitterreddit

Pete Holmes has poked fun at the Street Fighter series a few times in the past, but this time he employs VGX 2013 co-host and former Ubisoft E3 press conference host Joel McHale to play eccentric patriot Guile.

As you can expect based on previous entries, there’s a lot of semi-scripted, semi-improvised comedy that looks into just how silly these Street Fighter characters are. I mean, who yells out “America!” over and over again? We also get to learn that the “war” Guile fought in was the “No Gun War of ’63,” held in Europe, under the “Old Navy” battalion, under the tutelage of General Mills. It explains how a guy that fights with his fists and his feet could survive armed conflict.
