The eSports scene continues to grow. Major League Gaming announced plans this week to build the world’s first “MLG Arena,” a 15,000-seat stadium on Hengqin Island, which is off the coast of popular gambling hot-spot Macau.

MLG announced the news Thursday, in partnership with Lai Fung Holdings Limited and eSun Holdings Limited. The new MLG Arena, located in what the company is calling the “V-Zone,” is planned as the centerpiece of an $18 billion “Creative Culture City” initiative for the Hengqin Island.

In addition to operating as the site of the first-ever MLG Arena, the V-Zone is going to include an expo area for game developers to feature new and upcoming games, as well as gaming-themed restaurants and retail shops.

DLC map incoming! Titanfall is getting what appears to be a Tron-inspired map pack called War Games.

Using a lot of design choices from the training mission simulator, War Games was designed as a clean and abstract level. According to the official Titanfall site, the entire map is based on the concept of “parkour playground”.

It’s nice to see the added elements coming into the game. Will it be enough to keep the energy going for Titanfall?

‘The Great Ace Attorney’ is the next game in the Ace Attorney series, and marks the start of a new story arch for the franchise.

So confirmed Capcom producers in an interview with Famitsu (translation via Siliconera), who offered the first firm details on the game.

Set in ancient Japan’s Meiji Period, the game stars Phoenix Wright’s ancestor, Ryuunosuke Naruhodo, and is in development for 3DS with only a Japanese launch (of unspecified timing) currently announced.
