During his keynote address at PAX East 2014, Harmonix CEO Alex Rigopulous stated that the company had “grand plans” to revive two wildly successful franchises for next gen.

Rigopulos stated that he believes that the company will bring back Rock Band, as well as Dance Central, to the public on the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 during the new consoles’ lifespans.

“[The Rock Band and Dance Central franchises] are near and dear to our hearts and our minds. And we have grand plans to bring back both of them with guns blazing at some point in the coming console cycle,” he said.

He never announced either game as being in development at the moment, and no announcement is expected any time soon.
