Minecraft Pocket Edition Reaches 21 Million in Sales

A week after revealing the sales numbers for Minecraft on Xbox 360, Mojang has revealed the sales numbers for its mobile version of the juggernaut sandbox game.

Jens Bergensten of Mojang announced via Twitter that the mobile version of the game, titled Minecraft Pocket Edition, has sold over 21 million copies. Though the Pocket Edition doesn’t come with all the features found in other versions of the game, it does offer cross-platform multiplayer as well as some survival elements. The basic hunt and build gameplay is in tact in the mobile version as well.

Who knows when it will be, but by the time Minecraft sells its last copy, it may be safe to say that Mojang’s title will go down as the highest-selling game of all time.
