Metro Redux Confirmed By Deep Silver, Eyes PC, PS4 and Xbox One

It was supposedly leaked online earlier today, and now the publishers at Deep Silver have since confirmed it; Metro Redux is a thing and will be a game that sees a release on PC, PS4 and Xbox One (presumably) later this year.

"Is Metro Redux real? Yes. We never made any secret of 4A’s desire to bring Metro to the latest generation of console hardware. But what you saw leaked was taken from an old, internal planning presentation, containing some nuggets of truth but a lot of hypothetical ideas and place holder [sic] material…As you can see, we’re not quite ready to reveal 4A Games’ first next-gen console project, but we will be making an announcement this side of E3."

While there is no official confirmation on what the game details, the speculation is that Metro Redux will include Metro: Last Light, DLC, its original soundtrack and art cards, all wrapped up in its own special packaging. Even better is the notion that fans won’t have to wait until June at E3 to hear more news about this new project.

If the listing details are true, expect Metro Redux on PC, PS4 and Xbox One later this year.
