Another month, another batch of free games to those currently subscribed to the PS Plus service across the PS4, PS3 and PS Vita. According to the PlayStation Blog, PS3 owners can expect to get their digital hands on Batman: Arkham City, which boasts at 96/100 Metacritic score, if that’s the kind of thing you’re into (one of roughly 20 games all time to receive such an honor).

Of course, with over 6 million new PS4 owners worldwide, the look will be to see what PS4 game comes free this month. April sees gamers receiving Contra-Meets-Metal-Slug, run-and-gun, 2D pixel art action shooter in Mercenary Kings. While similar games focus on taking out enemies with a barrage of flinging bullets all over the screen, Mercenary Kings looks to be a bit more deliberate in its approach.

Among the other freebies coming to PS Plus this month are Stealth Inc. A Clone in the Dark (PS3), Castle of Illusion Starring Mickey Mouse (PS3), Velocity Ultra (PS Vita), and Pixeljunk Monsters Ultimate HD (PS Vita).
