PS4 Getting Pre-Load Capability in April

For years, PC gamers have been able to pre-load games ahead of their release in order guarantee play the second the game officially launches. Now, it appears that at least one console is getting into that market this spring as the PlayStation 4 is reportedly set to get in on the pre-load functions.

In a response to a fan asking about pre-load on Twitter, the official account of developer Sucker Punch seemingly let the cat out of the bag when it comes to pre-loading on the PS4.

There has been no official word from Sony about this rumor, but with the major system update coming in April, it wouldn’t be surprising if this is another feature added. The company did, however, tease that more features of the update would be announced at a later date.
