Decapre Announced As 5th New Ultra Street Fighter 4 Character

It’s official; Cammy with a mask (Decapre) has been confirmed as the 5th and, presumably, final new launch character for the upcoming Ultra Street Fighter 4 game. The character was announced during a Capcom livestream on Twitch, which provided a reveal trailer and a showcase between Ryan Hart and Combofiend. This will be the first time this member of M. Bison’s Dolls will act as a playable fighter within the series.

I’m not a major fighting game aficionado, but I could still understand the disappointment of the fans. Many were hoping for someone else, perhaps the likes of Alex, Urien or Q, to join the roster instead. What ended up happening appears to be as though the team at Capcom went with a familiar character model style in a Cammy re-skin with claws.

Ultra Street Fighter 4 will be released for the Xbox 360 and PS3 as an update add-on to Street Fighter IV for $14.99 or as a standalone for $39.99, this June. The PC version will be released later this year, likely in August. Check out the reveal trailer below.
