Call of Duty: Ghosts Receives 1.7gb Patch on PS4

Call-of-Duty-Ghosts-Multiplayer-screenshot-Arctic-Lumber1Infinity Ward has released a large patch for Call of Duty: Ghosts on PlayStation 4 in hopes of improving overall game stability.

The patch is a whopping 1.7gb that has just a single, solitary release note:

  • Fixed a crash that could occur at the start screen, if you started downloading Onslaught before launching the game

Recent rumors have suggested that the game mode Drop Zone could be making it’s debut in Call of Duty: Ghosts in the near future. Maybe something is hidden inside this latest update that someone will snoop out for even more confirmation on the potential return of the mode. But for now, players are left to wonder just why the update is so large.
