2014 BAFTA Game Awards: Ashley Johnson Wins Best Performer

facebooktwitterreddit

Ashley Johnson has won the award for Best Performer at the 2014 BAFTA Game Awards for her work as Ellie from The Last of Us. Johnson beat out Courtnee Draper (Elizabeth from BioShock Infinite), Ellen Page (Jodie from Beyond: Two Souls), Kevan Brighting (The Narrator from The Stanley Parable), Steven Ogg (Trevor Phillips from Grand Theft Auto V) and Troy Baker (Joel from The Last of Us) for the award, which was presented by Ralph Ineson, who pretended (I think) to be disappointed about not being nominated himself. Johnson was not on hand to pick up her trophy.

It’s the fifth award of the night for The Last of Us, which converted on 50 percent of its ten nominations (though it had two in this one category). Keep it locked to Gamesided all day for wall-to-wall BAFTA Game Awards coverage. And don’t forget to stick around after the show for a full awards recap.
