Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 DLC, Revelations, Has You Play As Alucard

Hoping to avoid the same troubles that Resident Evil Revalaitons went through, Konami will be releasing DLC for Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 on March 25. It will be called Revelations, features Alucard as the main character and is set in a time set before the events of Lords of Shadow 2, Konami has confirmed to GameSpot.

As to avoid spoilers for a game I thought was a fitting end to the Lords of Shadow trilogy in my review, it will be interesting just how the developers at MercurySteam will weave the stories together. Alucard, being the protagonist of Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, has been put under the spotlight before, and will hopefully explain certain aspects of the main game. The prequel story DLC is always an interesting option, and has worked wonders for games like The Last of Us and its Ellie prequel DLC, “Left Behind.”

Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 DLC, Revelations, is set for release on the PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 on March 25th. No word on the price of the DLC is available at this time, but we will update this story when that information becomes available.
