Darkseid Joins Injustice: Gods Among Us As Mobile Exclusive

If you’ve been playing the mobile version of Injustice: Gods Among Us today, you may have noticed the game feeling a little more evil than it did before.

There’s a reason for that. Darkseid has been added to the game as a mobile exclusive, bringing his special brand of darkness to iOS devices everywhere. To celebrate (as much as one can celebrate a being who seeks to wipe out all free will in the universe), Injustice is having a challenge event that runs through March 24. The event tasks players with successful completion of a number of time-sensitive battles, with an exclusive Gold Character Card going to anyone who beats them.

Beating Darkseid? That could be a bit trickier, as that Omega Effect can really throw you for a loop (just ask Batman). Using him sounds like a lot more fun. Injustice: Gods Among Us is a free download on the iOS App Store, and progress in the mobile game can unlock content in the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions. Plus Darkseid wants you to put it on your iPad, iPhone or iPod Touchm and he’s not a good person to disobey.
