Telltale Games’ The Walking Dead Season 2 Episode 2 Release Date Revealed

The turnaround for The Walking Dead video game series by Telltale Games will be a lot shorter per episode than its The Wolf Among Us counterpart. That’s right, Telltale Games has revealed in a press release that The Walking Dead Season 2, Episode 2, “A House Divided,” will be released on the PS3 and PC/Mac on Tuesday, March 4th in North America. The Xbox 360, European PSN and iOS dates will be confirmed shortly by Telltale Games.

Better yet; we have a confirmed release window for the PlayStation Vita release of The Walking Dead Season 2. The current progression track notes a release near the end of March for both Episode 1 and 2, which can be bought separately for $4.99 or purchased with a Season Pass, much like the other releases on consoles and PC.

To put the cherry on the top, Telltale Games also released a trailer. It showcases our star, Clementine, throughout the newest episode’s grim adventures. It also stars a mysterious antagonist Carver, voiced by Michael Madsen. For those who are unaware, he played Mr. Blonde in Reservoir Dogs. The prospect of him joining the voice cast raises my intrigue of his role within the Season 2 story, wondering just how truly dreadful it could be.

UPDATE: What is quite intriguing is the role of previous Walking Dead episodes and how it will affect Episode 2. According to the Community Lead for Telltale Games (over at the PlayStation Blog), she says, “If you haven’t yet played ‘400 Days’ (The Walking Dead: Season One DLC), you should definitely check that out before ‘A House Divided’ lands next week…” This confirms suspicions that we will once again see the clandestine group from the bridge-gap DLC, which still serves an unknown role in Clementine’s story.

The Walking Dead Season 2 Episode 2, “A House Divided,” will be available as a digital download for PS3 and PC/Mac on March 4th. Here’s the trailer below.
