Minecraft Tops 100 Million Users On PC

Mojang and it’s open-world sandbox game Minecraft has reached yet another major milestone as the game has reached the 100 million registered users mark on its original platform, the PC. The game has also seen releases on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and mobile devices with a PlayStation 4 and Xbox One version coming soon.

In the same announcement regarding the 100 million users, game creator Markus “Notch” Persson stated that 14.3 percent of all registered users convert into paid accounts. Players can sign up for free and play five in-game days before being required to pay for the game.
