Halo 5 is Coming in 2014

The rumors have been plenty that the next Halo game was set to arrive this year. Now, thanks to the March cover of The Official Xbox Magazine, it appears as though the rumors are, in fact, true — Halo 5 is coming this year.

Right smack dab in the middle of the cover, the line reads: “Halo 5: It’s coming this year! First glimpse of a new world inside”

While no official word has come yet from Microsoft, a magazine that has ties into the organization to state that it’s coming this year could very well be all the proof fans need as confirmation for the next game. Still, until the company announces the game itself, this information should be taking with a grain of salt. Whether it’s a large grain or not is up to you.
