Sony has confirmed a special Metal Gear Solid themed version of the PlayStation 4 console will be released in Japan.

The PS4 Fox Edition will come bundled with a boxed copy of Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes.

More notably, the console will also feature the Fox emblem on its side along with the Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes logo.

The console will be available to buy in Japan on March 20, the same day Ground Zeroes is released in the region.

A few days ago, an unannounced Transformers game was spotted on Amazon. As the game had not been announced yet, we could only assume by its listing that it was close to being announced. Well the good news for Transformers fans is that it is official as Transformers: Rise of the Dark Spark has been announced during Hasbro’s presentation at the New York Toy Fair over the weekend. The game is expected to merge the canon in the games with those of the Michael Bay movies, meaning that we can look forward to a unified Transformers universe down the road.

A new Final Fantasy game has proven no match for a new Lego game, in the latest UK individual and all formats charts.

It might be the middle of February but last week was the first properly busy one of the year for video games, although the new number one doesn’t come as much of a surprise.

Released the same day as the film, The Lego Movie game is likely to do even better in subsequent weeks; but for now easily took the number one spot, with sales 15,000 ahead of Call Of Duty: Ghosts in the all formats chart.

The Xbox 360 version was the biggest seller, which isn’t surprising as the Lego game always tend to skew towards a more casual audience – who are less likely to have a next gen console.
