Even The Secret World Has Valentine’s Day

Funcom’s MMORPG “The Secret World” may be a place full of unspeakable horrors, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t a place for love and gifts among the darkness.

The gifts in this case are for you and the people close to you. Through February 23, every account for “The Secret World” has been given five buddy invites that cam be used to give friends or family members free three-day trials of the game. If any of the people using your invites decides to upgrade to the full game within 30 days, you’ll end up with $15 of Bonus Points.

On top of that offer, Funcom has some special Valentine’s items waiting in the in-game store. All you have to do is log in to claim them, and other unique items are available that can be traded with other players. You know, just like you used to do back in elementary school, except instead of candy, you’ll be getting stuff to take into battle while fighting off the undead.

Come to think of it, that sounds better than chocolate and flowers anyway. Show how much you care and jump back into “The Secret World” this week.
