The Evil Within Gets Launch Date

Bethesda has announced that The Evil Within, the latest from Resident Evil creator Shinki Mikami, will launch on August 26 in North America and August 29 in Europe. The game will be available on PC, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4.

First announced in April 2013, The Evil Within puts players in the role of Detective Sebastian Castellanos who is investigating the scene of a mass-murder when he is ambushed and knocked unconscious before awaking to a world full of monsters. The game is being developed by Tango Gameworks, a Japan-based division of ZeniMax Asia founded in March 2010 by Mikami himself.
