New Dark Souls II Screenshots Show Player Customization

Dark Souls II is just a month away from release, and their Facebook page has been pumping in the new content day after day. Recently, they released a new slew of in-game screenshots highlighting the customization capabilities for your hollowed warrior within the game.

The Clif notes for what new items you can expect in Dark Souls II? Beards and tattoos! Additionally, the amount of new hairstyles, facial features and skin hues you can choose have been increased dramatically.

Customization is key when it comes to action RPG’s. Just like with the countless new swords, shields and armor coming to Dark Souls II, allowing each player to create a better reflection of themselves or giving them the freedom to escape in a grandiose fantasy gives our unnamed protagonists individuality. This is especially important with a seamless single-to-multiplayer experience where others are trying to kill you.
