An enhanced version of Monster Hunter 4 has been announced for the Nintendo 3DS, and a release window has been announced for the localized version coming to the West. Monster Hunter 4G will be coming to Japan this Autumn, with the localized version named Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate announced for early-2015.

This will mark the first iteration of Monster Hunter 4 that will be headed to North America with proper translation. Previously, fans would have to import the game from Japanese retailers and work around the Japanese language or have to settle with Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate that released early last year on either the 3DS or the Wii U.

In a message to international fans, series producer Ryozo Tsujimoto said to expect more vertical and lateral movement to expand the available combat options to entice fans of new and old. More pertinent information about the game will be teased on Capcom and Monster Hunter 4G and Ultimate social media channels the closer it comes to release in Japan and abroad.

Monster Hunter 4G is coming to Japan this Autumn for the Nintendo 3DS, with a localized version called Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate coming overseas to North America in early-2015. Check out the Japanese announcement trailer below.
