GTA Online Maintenance Announced

Get ready to have your ability to play GTA Online taken from you later tonight. That is, for at least 24 hours.

Scheduled to begin a 9pm EST and last through most of Thursday, January 16, Rockstar Games has announced that the online features for Grand Theft Auto will be unavailable to all players. Single player mode, however, should not be affected by the maintenance.

The statement by Rockstar concludes by saying that, “We expect to be back up within 24 hours. Apologies for the inconvenience.”

The maintenance is expected to fix stability issues that some users have been dealing with, including dropped connections and loss of vehicles and money.  A full list of fixes should be released by Rockstar over the next day or so.
