Hacker Group Hits APB, GamersFirst

APB-2010-05-31-23-49-20-23Yet another game has become victim of the hacker group that has been taking down servers of nearly a dozen games over the last 24 hours. After dropping countless hints as to which game it would be, the group revealed that it had taken Gamersfirst.com and All Points Bulletin offline.

While not as high profile as League of Legends, DOTA 2 or EVE Online, APB is still popular in its own right. The fact that the group continues to “prove their power” by taken down game servers is becoming more of a problem as the minutes go by. These are obviously knowledgeable people who know how to cover their tracks, but one has to imagine a breakthrough will be coming sooner or later.

Stay tuned.

Some of the colleagues that i work with over at Massive gaming and PW, were hit. Interesting as for APB is concern i was online with a friend and we offline. I am glad i haven’t met anyone from this game or any hacker from any game for that matter, no telling what i would do to them. Cheaters, hackers, closet hackers, all these fools should be in put in prison for 10 years for this. Hiding behind a computer , keep hiding, low life scums.

Despite all the hate APB gets. It’s a pretty good game.
While the group hit them, it’s more of a reason for Gamersfirst to actually do something (and speed up addressing issues) because APB is the only relevant game they really have.
