The latest uber craze on the mobile market, this gem-busting game has pushed more than half a billion downloads in its first year on the market, racking up some pretty impressive stats in the process.For starters, more than 150 billion individual games of Candy Crush Saga have been played to date and one in every 23 Facebook users worldwide is now a “fan” of the game. If you take a moment to really think about the magnitude of that second figure, it’s actually quite staggering how popular the game has become.Apparently the majority of those people play the game between the hours of 6 and 9 p.m., and the most popular day to play is Sundays."

"Hideo Kojima, creator of the Metal Gear Solid franchise and a key figure in Kojima Productions, has revealed to GamesRadar that he originally thought Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes, prequel to Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, would be released on PS3 or PSP.Kojima said that those original plans for Ground Zeroes changed because of development difficulties. However, Kojima said (via translator) that he “just wanted to release Ground Zeroes, but then we learned about the next generation.”While he followed that by saying he wanted to release both parts of Metal Gear Solid V as one, it is unclear whether that was the intention after the move to the next generation or before, as well."
