The PS4 will be released to the public starting at midnight tonight, and hundred of thousands of consoles are expected to be picked up within that lone hour across the United States. For many that didn’t pick up special “pre-packages” for expedited purchases, that means long line ups outside your local Wal-Mart, GameStop, Best Buy, local game shop, etc. That also means having to brave the elements for long periods of time. Some places will get really cold. Others, the climate might be more forgiving.

Let’s look at some of the best and worst cities to stand in line for the PS4 midnight launch! We based on weather findings using TheWeatherNetwork.com, from around 1 PM for weather at 9PM local. For most places, remember to bring a coat!
