One of the more popular racing series in the gaming world is Need For Speed.

This game will see a new developer in Ghost Games taking over that responsibility from Criterion Games.

They are about to release the latest entrant in the series with Need For Speed: Rivals for PS4 in North America on November 15.

Then it will come out for PS3, Xbox 360, and PC November 19 in North America. The Xbox One will see it come out on November 22.

The staple of past Need For Speed games was about cars that looked great and could go at insane speeds while evading the police.

This game takes place in the fictional Redview County, an open world area that’s host to battles between cops and racers.

In this game players can take the role of either a racer or a cop with each side of the law offering its own set of challenges, risks and rewards.

Rivals will feature eleven upgradeable gadgets such as EMPs, shockwaves and the ability to call in roadblocks.

The game uses Autolog,  the competition-between-friends system developed by Criterion for Hot Pursuit and has been used since for other titles in the series.

It will let players compare stats and challenge friends anytime, anywhere and share the accomplishments with both friends and rivals.

The game will also feature a new social system called AllDrive, which allows players to seamlessly transition from playing alone, to playing with friends.

This video below shows how the AllDrive feature will work in the game.

The game also features a dynamic weather system, which is going to make the world feel alive in a much bigger sense than any other Need for Speed game.

There will be plenty of ways to customize your car to fit your needs and video below details it.

In Rivals there will also be ways that you can progress through the game and use technology to your advantage.

It looks like Ghost Games is doing a great service to the series with Rivals.
