NBA 2k14: Improvements Coming To Next-Gen MyTeam

NBA 2k14 has been out for a month on the current generation of consoles, but the release of the game for the Xbox One and Playstation 4 is still a few weeks away. With the release of the new version of NBA 2k14 comes some improvements to the popular MyTeam mode which is 2K’s version of the EA Sports Ultimate Team game mode.

One of the biggest new features to the card-based game mode is the inclusion of a “Domination mode” for the next gen. Domination mode will see players built teams go up against “actual NBA teams.” PS4 and Xbox One players will also see new card colors — emerald, sapphire and ruby — introduced to describe the different levels of rarity for each card.

It’s unclear, and also unlikely, if an update will come down the line to add Domination mode to the current-gen versions of the game.

NBA 2k14 releases on November 15 (PS4) and November 22 (Xbox One).
