Just ahead of the PlayStation 4 launch comes a hint from the MLB: The Show Twitter account teasing possible information about MLB 14: The Show on November 4th.
Seeing how SCE San Diego Studio has developed the series for PlayStation since 2006, which includes cross-generation versions on the PlayStation 2 and PlayStation 3 for MLB 07: The Show, it is safe to assume that MLB 14: The Show will include a version of the game on the PlayStation 4.
Historically, the baseball game series has released each version before the first week of March, making a potential PS4 version of MLB 14: The Show being released within the launch window of the new Sony console. It would also mean that it could be released just ahead of the launches of Microsoft-exclusive Titanfall and Action-RPG Dark Souls II, to go along with the potential release of the MLB 2K14 (if Take-Two Interactive decides to continue the series).
We will be on the lookout for MLB 14: The Show information on November 4th and report what we find here on GameSided. It could just be like with The Walking Dead Season 2; the announcement of a future announcement. Make sure to follow us on Twitter so you don’t miss a thing!
