Another Game 1, another shut out. With the exceptions of Juan Uribe, A.J. Ellis and Carl Crawford, the rest of the Dodgers went 0-3 or 0-4. More surprisingly, Clayton Kershaw did not pitch well at all, giving up 6 hits, 4 ER, 2 walks and 3 K’s over only 5 innings.

The same could not be said for Kris Medlen, who threw a complete game 4 hit, 7 strikeout shutout. The Upton brothers also provided most of the offense in this game, as B.J. Upton and Justin Upton combined to go 4-6 with 2 walks, 1 run and 3 RBI. The other bright spot on the Braves offense was free-agent-to-be Brian McCann, who went 2-4 with a double.
