A quick start by the Patriots was too much for the Jets to overcome as New England moved to 2-0 on the young season.

Tom Brady went 26-of-38 for 299 yards and two touchdowns. Steven Ridley, who’s fumble in Week 1 cost him playing time, came back in a big way in Week 2. He finished with 96 yards on 18 carries and a touchdown.

Without Danny Amendola in the lineup, Julian Edleman stepped up and caught 10 passes for 116 yards and a touchdown.

On the Jets side of things, Geno Smith started poorly, but came on in the second half. In the first 30 minutes, Smith went 6-18 for 54 yards and two interceptions. In the second half, Smith went 13-17 for 167 and two touchdowns.
