Zatanna Set To Cast A Spell On Injustice Players As Latest DLC Character

There haven’t been too many complaints about NetherRealm’s impressive schedule of DLC character additions for “Injustice: Gods Among Us,” but there was still something missing. Something, say, a little magical.

That won’t be an issue after August 13, as Zatanna is joining the roster to add her mystical might to the battle between good and evil. If you aren’t familiar with her, Zatanna is the magician daughter of Giovanni Zatara and a stalwart member of the Justice League in several of its pre-New 52 incarnations. She can cast all kinds of spells by speaking the effects out loud, but backwards. And then there are the fishnets. Ah, the fishnets! Oh, and since Superman is vulnerable to magic, she’s one of the few super heroes who could probably kick Clark’s butt if necessary.

Anyway, she’s popular enough that plenty of folks won’t mind splashing out 400 Microsoft Points to use her on Xbox 360 or $4.99 to do the same on PS3. If you still need some convincing, just check out the gameplay trailer right now:

This probably isn’t the end for additions to “Injustice,” as it’s been heavily rumored that Sub-Zero of “Mortal Kombat” fame is coming to join Scorpion. Who would you still like to see from either the DC Universe or the NetherRealm stable? Hit us off with a comment and let us know.
