Photo: What Comes With The PS4?

At E3 2013, Sony disclosed the contents of the PlayStation 4’s box: a power cord, an HDMI cable, a USB charger, a headset, a DualShock 4 controller, and a manual.

As we all know, however, everything is better when we can actually get a visual of what we hear.

Wonder no more, Gamesiders. The website Dualshockers has come across a picture, that has since been confirmed as legitimate, that shows exactly what everything that comes inside the PS4’s box looks like.

The power cord looks to be a simple two-pronged plug that has been commonplace for every PlayStation console. The HDMI cable and manual look standard. The USB cord looks short which may cause an issue for those who would like to play and charge the controller at the same time. If it is a very short cord, then users who want to plug-“n”-play will have to get a cable extender.

The ear bud headset looks exactly something that comes in the box of a smartphone. It looks dingy and cheap, and seems as though it will be easily breakable. Needless to say, it’s safe to assume that many gamers will likely be using a different headset. Then again, if it gets the job done, why does it matter what it looks like?
